I had the pleasure of hearing Levi Stephens sing at Virginia Tech on February 26. Ironically enough, this was not my first time seeing him perform. I was in a restaurant in Silver Spring, MD once and he was providing live music for the patrons. I thought he had a very nice voice. I said I was going to make it a point to go to his website and check out some of his music; unfortunately, it slipped my mind. Without realizing that this was the same person that I saw in the restaurant, I decided to see him perform. Once again, he absolutely floored me. The thing that's so interesting about him is the fact that he doesn't put himself into a box by only singing one genre of music; he can sing Blues, Country, R&B, you name it. If you'd like to learn more about Levi, check out his website.
