On February 7, 2015, I had the pleasure of attending the Pretty Nasty Stroll-Off, which was hosted by the men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. at Virginia Tech. Eight out of the nine National Pan-Hellenic Council organizations competed in the stroll-off with the winning groups being Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. from Virginia Tech and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. from Hampton University.
I always love shooting NPHC events. As a member of an NPHC organization, I always try to give back to that community by providing images that are representative of the various aspects of the culture. It was a great event and I had a phenomenal time being in the atmosphere and having the opportunity to capture it.
If you were in attendance, what did you enjoy most about the event? Let me know in the comments!

In an attempt to provide visitors of Silas Photography a glimpse into my mind regarding my thoughts and motivations behind photography, I have changed the primary format of my website to that of a blog. Whenever new photos are posted, a blog post will accompany them. Feel free to leave your thoughts on any posts that interest you. Check back periodically for updates.
