On May 3, the Theta Iota Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. held their 2nd Annual Greek Unity Stroll-Off. Members of the NPHC took PHC organizations under their wings and taught them various party hops for this event. The stroll-off was held to raise money for the March of Dimes, one of the Alphas’ initiatives. They were able to raise well over $1000 through their philanthropy efforts.
The men and women of Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity, Inc. took home 1st place for both the male and female categories. All of the organizations put on a phenomenal show.
When you look at the gallery, you’ll notice I have quite a few photos from this event. The crazy part is I only posted roughly 10% of what I shot that day. It took me a long time to get around to editing these due to school obligations.
Were you at the event? What did you think? Leave comments!

All of the photos are downloadable, so if you want to use one for social media, feel free. I only ask that you do not remove my watermark from the photo. I support all of the organizations I take photos of at Virginia Tech, so please support me by publicizing my work. Thank you for understanding!
In an attempt to provide visitors of Silas Photography a glimpse into my mind regarding my thoughts and motivations behind photography, I have changed the primary format of my website to that of a blog. Whenever new photos are posted, a blog post will accompany them. Feel free to leave your thoughts on any posts that interest you. Check back periodically for updates.
