The Scavenger Hunt: In Need of YOUR Assistance

March 09, 2014  •  3 Comments

So I've been brainstorming over the last few days. I enjoy doing random photography projects, but I haven't had any luck coming up with anything this time around. As a result, I thought it would be an interesting idea to have YOU (yes, YOU!) give me suggestions of everyday items to take photos of. I believe this will allow me to look at regular things from a different perspective, which is one of my favorite things about photography.

For this project, I need regular items that I can actually find. This isn't limited to household items or anything; I would be willing to go outside to take photos of objects as well. These items can include shoes, food, leaves, trees, buildings, etc. I'm pretty open to anything reasonable. If you would like to make a suggestion, please comment on this blog post. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, you can also use the "Contact" tab located at the top of this website to shoot me an email.

I think this could potentially be a really cool project. PLEASE make suggestions! I'll post any updates regarding the project on the front page so you can see them next time you visit.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you! Let's get these suggestions rolling!

In an attempt to provide visitors of Silas Photography a glimpse into my mind regarding my thoughts and motivations behind photography, I have changed the primary format of my website to that of a blog. Whenever new photos are posted, a blog post will accompany them. Feel free to leave your thoughts on any posts that interest you. Check back periodically for updates.
