Phi Beta Sigma Centennial at Howard University

January 15, 2014  •  Leave a Comment

I am very fortunate to be a part of such a great organization. On March 17, 2007 at an undisclosed time, I crossed those "Burning Sands" into Sigma Land and never looked back. Phi Beta Sigma has provided me with an endless supply of memorable experiences. I had to make sure I was front and center at Howard University on January 9, 2014. I didn't take many photos because I was busy seeing brothers that I hadn't seen in quite a while, so please excuse the quantity.

(It's ironic to me that I didn't take many photos tonight because I actually left my camera in Blacksburg. I was 30 minutes into a 4 hour drive to D.C. when I realized that it wasn't in my rental car. YES I DID turn around to go get it. No regrets whatsoever.)

In an attempt to provide visitors of Silas Photography a glimpse into my mind regarding my thoughts and motivations behind photography, I have changed the primary format of my website to that of a blog. Whenever new photos are posted, a blog post will accompany them. Feel free to leave your thoughts on any posts that interest you. Check back periodically for updates.
