I alluded to taking photos for this event in an earlier blog post. It took me quite a while to go through all of the photos that I had for this event. I started out with over 2000 and chopped that number down to a little bit over 400. I know people have been waiting for these, but A LOT of work piled on me at the end of the semester. Ahh, the life of a graduate student.
Before this event, I had never shot a pageant, let alone a co-ed one. I feel like this was a great introduction. I had a phenomenal time watching the students show off some of their talents and their ability to articulate intelligent answers to difficult pageant questions. I really hope that this is an event the SG Rhos and Ques will hold again in the future.
Below are a few of my favorite selections from this event. Click on the photos to go to the gallery. Let me know what you think in the comments.
P.S.: If you're pictured in this gallery, feel free to take the photos and post them wherever you'd like. All I ask is that you DO NOT remove the watermark. Thanks!
In an attempt to provide visitors of Silas Photography a glimpse into my mind regarding my thoughts and motivations behind photography, I have changed the primary format of my website to that of a blog. Whenever new photos are posted, a blog post will accompany them. Feel free to leave your thoughts on any posts that interest you. Check back periodically for updates.
